| Hey guys! Sorry I haven't written anything on here in so long. Its kind of funny I actually check my xanga everyday, but I never write anything anymore. I guess thats cause it usually takes me a long time to write anything these days. Well, the Slovakia trip was pretty incredible. Its been two weeks, and I'm quite ready to go back except for the fact that I don't have any money. I already miss everyone over there a lot. I keep thinking of Heaven where I wont have to spend $2000 bucks just to see my Slovak friends. And maybe we will all get together at Mr Abrman's mansion for an amazing lunch by his garden on a bright, sunny, clear, and cool summer afternoon. Another thing I miss very much is Slovak food. Specifically Mr Abrman's cooking, Although I am happy to come back to good Texas meat, and spicy mexican food.
Here are a few pictures.
This is Filip, Jakub, and Michal doing their intricately choreographed hard core rap version of twinkle twinkle little star. It was very interesting!
This is a some of our friends from the church over there.
One day we went down the river on these old rafts, and after that we went hiking in the mountains. It was incredibly beautiful!
On another day we went rock climbing, and we hung out around a fire roasting sausage, and we all found out that Mr Abrman can play the guitar and sing! It was a good day.
The first place that we went to right after the first camp was this palace in the Czech Republic. It was really beautiful, but everyone was dead tired.

The day we went to Vienna Austria it was freezing cold and raining(about 50 degrees F), and some of us were wearing shorts and t-shirts. But it was still really beautiful, and we got to go to Mozart's apartment, and this crazy church.
This is the Berea Center where we will have camps in the future. Mr Abrman says that it will take maybe two years for the remodeling to be completed.
Digging in the basement to make it bigger.
Cleaning the mortar off of bricks so they can be reused.
Here are some more pictures from camp. I'm gonna have to make a couple more posts about the camps and stuff.

| Hello everyone! Well we have now been in Slovakia for ten days, and we have just completed the first day of the second camp. Each day seems really slow but the trip as a whole has gone flying by. The first camp went really well. I think I had it pretty easy with the group of kids that I had. This week everything is so different from last week that I felt a little clueless when trying to find games that the kids would enjoy. I still haven't quite figured that out yet so I've been praying for some creativity for tomorow, and the rest of the week I guess. Well please keep praying that walls would come down, and that we would have opportunities to talk about more than just the English language with the kids or their parents. We miss all of you people back in America, and we will be very glad to see you in about three weeks. I must say I am rather excited about meeting my knew niece. Dovidenia! Good bye! | | |
| So, the Safari is in two weeks!!!! It is going to be quite the race this year. I'm all freaking out inside. Its going to be long, intense, and brutal, and amazing! I believe that when I get to Heaven it will be just like paddling up to the finnish line at Seadrift on a low water year.
On another note I'm excited about going to Slovakia next month, and all the music that I have just started working on. I get to play the whole Pathetique Sonata by Beethoven, three Preludes by Gershwin, and a piece by Debussy called Reflections in Water. I can't wait till I can play these pieces well.

| Matthew 27:50-54 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of there graves after His resurrection, they went to the holy city and appeared to many. 54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that happened, they feared greatly, saying, "truly this was the son of God!" | | |
